Learn to Recognize and Understand Medicinal Plants

Medicinal Plant Identification introduces students to the essential skills needed to recognize, identify, and better understand medicinal plants in their natural environments. This microcredential combines botanical observation, ecological awareness, and traditional plant knowledge to help learners develop confidence in identifying plants responsibly and accurately.

Students will explore plant families, identification techniques, habitat relationships, and the role medicinal plants have played throughout history. Through guided instruction and practical learning, participants will build a strong foundation for further study in herbalism, ecology, and natural medicine.
